Vintage elm table and chairs

This table and chairs is absolutely gorgeous! Solid elm, beautifully ornate and carved pedestal, and a wonderful depth of colour only age can create.

It is, however, a good 2 inches shorter than modern tables, making it quite the experience to sit at, but you do get used to it.

The chairs aren't an exact match, but their pretty seats compliment it perfectly.

This is the sort of item that you DON'T paint under any circumstances.

It has knocks and scrapes here and there, but they just add to the tables 'story'.

At an estimated 120 - 140 years old, it does make you wonder what it's seen in it's life.
